Program Description Explore how culture, history, media, and politics all intersect in modern, contemporary, and experimental visual art, music, theater and film. Enhance your understanding of how these themes are the undercurrent of our world and how applying this knowledge creates a well-rounded way of thinking. Through a combination of theory and hands-on courses, you will develop an artistic lens that can be applied to your studies across disciplines and future careers. This specialization is a great option for students coming from a high school arts program who wish to take their studies of the arts to the next level. Courses Students who have fulfilled the requirements for a single- or joint-major degree in Cultural Studies may graduate with a Specialization if they have successfully completed 4.0 CUST credits in the chosen Specialization category.
